We drive a 3/4 ton truck and a full-size SUV, and the gas prices/mileage are a burden right now, so we were looking to get into some more fuel efficient transportation. We live in a rural area about 4 miles from town. We also have a small farm so trading in the truck is not an option in trying to improve our fleet average fuel efficiency. So we went looking for scooters, not knowing anything about them. Ended up with the Vino 125 because my wife thought it was cute, and it was the cheapest scooter at our local motorbike shop. We really lucked out on this un-researched purchase. It has plenty of pick-up with the torquey 125 engine. Yamaha 4-wheelers are respected around here for their durability, so I'm expecting our experience with the Vino 125 will be similar. It can take both of us into town to run errands with ease. My wife, at about half my weight can get up to 55 mph with ease, I'm about 5 mph slower, but the acceleration seems about the same. So far about 65 mpg, which I think should improve once the engine is broken in. Handles our country roads with ease. Appears to be more substantially built than the other scoots we looked it. So far we are very happy with it.
Upgrades/Accessories: None, but the wife wants a windshield.
